HPSM – How to choose an image for buttons

Most probably, in the past, everyone of you had the need to relate an image to a button (or to a link-label) and did not know where retrieve a list of all available images… Well, maybe you don’t know that HP Service Manager has a directory containing a huge number of different images you can choose for your buttons inside a form:

<SM_INSTALL_PATH>\Client\plugins\com.hp.ov.sm.client.common_<version>\src\resources\icons\obj16

In this folder you will find a lot of images in gif format as shown below:

What you have to do, in order to relate one of those images to your button, is set the Image File property to the name of gif image without extension.

In the example below I associated the tcheck_u.gif image to my button (filling tcheck_u as Image File property):

As ou can see my button is showing the image I set.

Hope as always this will help you, cheers 😉
